The problem

One-on-one human coaching works — but it doesn't scale, and it's expensive. Most people who'd benefit from structured personal-development guidance never get it. The question Life Portrait set out to answer: can AI-powered coaching deliver something that feels personalized, structured, and genuinely useful — at the price point and accessibility that lets it reach a much wider audience than human-led coaching ever could?

The approach

We partnered with Life Portrait to design and build the AI-powered coaching platform. The work spans the full product:

• AI agent architecture — LLM-driven coaching that holds context across sessions, adapts to the individual, and stays inside structured frameworks rather than improvising freely.
• Personalization layer — the platform builds a portrait of each user over time, and the coaching adapts as that portrait sharpens.
• Mobile experience — built to fit into a daily routine rather than demand a dedicated session.
• Guardrails — coaching deals with sensitive personal subjects; the AI is constrained to stay inside the coaching scope rather than drift into territory it shouldn't.

The result

Life Portrait is live at lifeportrait.app. It delivers personalized coaching at a scale that human-only coaching could never reach.
